 ‘Love Letters’ is an evocative, touching, and frequently funny script based on letters exchanged between Andrew Makepeace Ladd III and Melissa Gardner, both born to wealth and position, but as different as night and day. Their relationship from kindergarten through middle age is described in letters that make it eloquently clear how much they really meant, and gave to, each other over the years—physically apart, perhaps, but spiritually as close as only true lovers can be. |
