This gag-filled comedy by the authors of MURDER AT THE HOWARD  
JOHNSON’S is about a couple who run a hamburger-shaped diner near 
Las Vegas. In their first  year, their only customer it seems is a footsore 
Illinois  girl hitchhiking to Hollywood  and certain stardom, but Wally 
and Louise stick it out for 41 years until, upon  the day of their retire-
ment, Janet re-enters their lives by way of a limousine. Their 
relationship is the basis for a wonderful, wacky comedy.
